Brainside

Brainside is a statement and message to encourage collaborations between science and art.
This animation is a storytelling experiment for medical visualizations. In contrast to classical images of this genre which appear very distant and sober usually, Brainside runs another path by making use of cinematic devices when helming a cerebral infarction (stroke). A stroke of fate for millions of people suddenly gets massive and threatening with the cruel beauty of a nature catastrophe - all taking place in an hidden microcosm.
