[ #inspiration #Mercedes ] Every August classic car fans from around the world converge on Pebble Beach in California for a very special beauty contest. This gathering of magnificent classic cars is the stage to premiere the exclusive Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, a sensational luxury-class coupé. The 2+2‑s eater is a homage to the glorious age of the aero coupés and consciously carries this tradition forward into the future. The coupé reinterprets classic, emotional design principles in an extreme way, following the Mercedes design philosophy of sensual purity. The Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, which measures almost six metres in length, is designed as an electric car. Mercedes-Benz fitted the concept with an electric drivetrain with 738 HP and a range of over 200 miles, provided by an 80 kW lithium-ion battery mounted beneath the car’s floor and four compact motors driving each wheel. [ #inspiration #BMW ] Inspired by The shark’s body-shape to break the 376 mph land speed record for motorcycles, Ukrainian designer Mehmet Doruk Erdem has created BMW Titan concept with a nose that reduces resistance to enhance aerodynamics, the concept also features a pair of air-intakes that look-like gills. The turbo-powered engine is connected to the rear tire through an enclosed swingarm that reminds a fin. Inside the enclosed cockpit the biker can control metrics like suspension status, cooling system operation and area-specific temperatures. The first land speed record was set on the Bonneville Salt Flats in 1914 by Teddy Teztlaff with a 300 horsepower Mercedes-Benz across the desert at 142 miles per hour.    More Automotive Design

With these three modes the concept creates a new autonomous drive innovation platform that can adapt to new needs and technologies over time. Drive When the car's interior is set up into Drive mode, the seats are organized similar to a 2016 car. This suggests that the driver will be in control, pretty much self-explanatory. Create The Create mode is best suited when the driver needs to get work accomplished while on the go. When it is activated, the car's interior design transforms into one which is ideal for consuming media, completing PowerPoint slides or reading.
