In 2012, Microsoft commissioned Satellite Office from Illinois (USA), to work with their pool of artists and invites to create unique "Start Backgrounds" for their new and most anticipated Windows 8 operational system. Featuring the new metro navigational system, the user have the ability to choose an illustration that creates a personalized experience, as well as support a premium parallax scroll animation.

Based on a system of colors, the artwork changes its coloration adapting to the taste of the user, for making this possible, Art & Design Director, Illustrator based in Los Angeles, CA, - Adhemas Batista was directed to deliver 8 different color schemes for the same artwork that would multiply into more colors for user to choose from with an unique color colorization of the Windows 8 engine.
