[ #inspiration #Audi Bike ]Audi in cooperation with the CarbonSports company is bringing on the market for the first time a technologically advanced carbon racing bike in a limited edition. The color scheme comes from the Audi Concept Design Studio in Munich. The saddle is covered in Fine Nappa leather, a detail from the new Audi R8. The 790 gram (27.9 oz) lightweight frame and the wheels are made of carbon – specifically T1000 carbon fiber, already employed by Audi for the cockpit of the Audi R18 e-tron quattro. The result is a complete bike with the Audi Sport look and a total weight of only 5.8 kg (13.0 lb). The limited edition badges bear the numbers 1 through 50.
The Audi Sport Racing Bike, presented at the 2015 Geneva International Motor Show, is available at a price of 17,500 euros (about $18,500 USD) .
